Matchbook
Matchbook B2B · Global liquidity network

You can build everything except liquidity.

Your front end can be built. Your trading team can be hired. Pricing can be sourced. Liquidity only exists where money is already meeting on both sides of a market. Matchbook B2B gives operators, platforms and suppliers a direct route into it.

The problem

Liquidity can't be built from scratch.

Most sportsbooks price customers against the house. When a book goes one-sided, a promotion creates exposure, or a customer wants size, there is nowhere to put the risk. Matchbook has spent more than 15 years building a global liquidity network, powered by B2B partners, market makers and liquidity providers.

The proposition

One connection. Three ways to access global liquidity.

Whether you want to launch an exchange product, manage a liability or sharpen your pricing, Matchbook B2B gives your team a direct connection to the market.

CONNECT

Launch exchange betting and prediction markets without building the underlying exchange infrastructure.

CONNECT

Launch a real market. Don't spend years building one.

Most sportsbooks are built to price customers against the house. CONNECT gives you a different proposition: customers trade against other customers through Matchbook's proprietary exchange and global liquidity network.

The problem

An exchange is hard to build and harder to fill.

Launching a peer-to-peer product from scratch means building a matching engine, sourcing exchange liquidity and creating an entirely new trading operation. CONNECT gives you a proven exchange product you can put in front of customers without doing any of that.

What you can launch
  • Exchange — peer-to-peer back/lay betting, a visible order book, partial matching and unmatched offer management.
  • Predictions — yes/no prediction markets across sport, politics, entertainment and current affairs.
  • Multiples — a proprietary multi-leg product built on exchange-derived pricing.
How to connect

Three routes. One liquidity network.

Pick the level of integration that fits your product, team and licence position.

  1. 01

    Full white label

Your brand, Matchbook exchange technology and liquidity, with a typical launch in 8-12 weeks once requirements are scoped.

  2. 02

    API integration

Exchange and prediction-market functionality delivered inside your existing front end.

  3. 03

    Shared or standalone liquidity

Access the wider pool, or create a ring-fenced market structure.

Why it matters

A new product category, without the build.

Enterprise-grade from day one

REST APIs for account and transactional management, WebSockets for real-time UI updates and bidirectional gRPC streams for high-speed market data and programmatic trading. OAuth2 authentication, TLS 1.2+ encryption and configurable IP whitelisting. Sandbox and UAT environments for every qualified integration.

CONNECT FAQ

Common questions.

Are prediction markets regulated as betting in the UK?

Yes. Prediction markets are offered as a betting product under Matchbook's UKGC licence, in line with Gambling Commission guidance.

Do I need my own licence?

It depends on the model and jurisdiction. Matchbook operates through its own licences, local licences and partner-licensed models, and will scope the right route with you.

Can I use my own brand?

Yes. A full white label runs under your brand, with your customer experience, on Matchbook's exchange technology.

Will my markets have liquidity at launch?

Your customers join Matchbook's global liquidity network, supplemented by market-maker seeding in key markets. A ring-fenced structure is also available.

Which sports are covered?

Horse racing, greyhounds, football, US sports, golf, cricket, tennis and more, with in-play across key sports.

COVER

More bets. Less risk.

The best sportsbook trading teams do not avoid risk — they manage it. COVER gives you a route to move exposure quickly when customer action, promotions or market moves create liabilities that are too large or too one-sided to carry.

The problem

Concentrated risk. Nowhere to put it.

Most operators manage large liabilities by restricting customers or refusing volume. Neither is good for the P&L or the brand. Matchbook combines access to exchange liquidity with a specialist brokerage network, giving operators the ability to lay off positions at speed and at meaningful size.

What you can cover
  • Large customer liabilities — manage significant stakes without automatically carrying the full exposure.
  • Outrights and futures — offset positions on major events and long-term markets.
  • Multiples and SGPs — rapidly de-risk large potential payouts.
  • Promotional exposure — offset risk from major promotions while continuing acquisition activity.
  • One-sided books — manage concentrated exposure when customer action moves heavily to one side.

SIGNAL

Live data at the speed of exchange.

Prices with money behind them. Use live Matchbook exchange data to see where real money is trading, benchmark your own prices and react to movement before an opportunity disappears.

The problem

Most data starts with someone else's margin.

Most sportsbook data starts with someone else's model, margin or pricing decision. SIGNAL starts with the market itself: true implied probability from an exchange, without sportsbook margin.

Benchmark

Compare your odds with live exchange prices and assess where you sit against the market.

Identify

Find pricing gaps, market movement and potential arbitrage opportunities.

Act

Feed live exchange data into trading models, alerts and decision-making at low latency.

What you get
  • Live prices, depth and volume across major sports and markets.
  • True implied probability from an exchange market, without sportsbook margin.
  • Real-time market movement and momentum.
  • Streaming API and WebSocket delivery for low-latency consumption at scale.
  • Historical exchange data for modelling, backtesting and settlement.
What operators use it for
  • Benchmarking sportsbook prices against a live market rather than another bookmaker's margin.
  • Identifying pricing gaps and potential arbitrage opportunities across books.
  • Triggering trading alerts when the market moves against an open position.
  • Pricing prediction markets and secondary products.
  • Validating pricing models before they go live.
